Our San Francisco, California facility is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to support our dynamic logistics operations. In this role, you will be involved in various warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods. Your contribution is essential to maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against orders.
- Store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and other stock management activities.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Support the overall logistics operations and team goals.
- Be prepared for tasks involving lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand product labels, order tickets, and shipping documents.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE is essential.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations is a plus.
