Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator in Boston, Massachusetts! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of goods within our busy warehouse. In this role, you will operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to transport materials, load and unload trailers, and stack products efficiently. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and you will be expected to strictly adhere to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires demonstrated skill in operating various types of forklifts and the ability to handle substantial Lifting of materials. If you possess excellent spatial awareness, a strong understanding of warehouse logistics, and a commitment to safe operation, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas.
- Stack and arrange products in designated locations.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and order picking as needed.
- Ensure accurate and efficient movement of goods within the logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and practices.
- Familiarity with PPE and its correct use.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
