We are expanding our operations in Dallas, Texas, and seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team. This role is paramount to our logistics success, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stock, and retrieve materials within our warehouse. You will play a key role in inventory management and the timely processing of shipments. We are committed to providing a secure and productive work environment, and require all operators to be vigilant about safety, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials within the facility.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and report any defects.
- Safely transport goods to and from designated areas, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counting, and stock replenishment.
- Maintain an organized and clutter-free work area to ensure smooth logistics.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Participate in regular safety training sessions and team meetings.
- Follow all guidelines for safe lifting and material handling.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Excellent knowledge of safety procedures and best practices for forklift operation.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on equipment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Capability to perform occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE and following safety protocols without exception.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.
