You will be the driving force behind accurately fulfilling customer orders by selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. This role involves standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and the consistent Lifting of packages up to 35 lbs. Strict adherence to safety protocols and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. You will utilize handheld scanning devices to ensure accuracy and contribute to our overall logistics efficiency. Working collaboratively with your team to meet daily order fulfillment targets is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners to verify picked items and track inventory.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and maintaining stock organization.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting (up to 35 lbs), standing, and walking for entire shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics and inventory procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
