We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our facility in Boise, Idaho. This role is critical for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and effectively to load, unload, and transport goods. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to **safety** are essential. This position offers a competitive salary and the chance to work in a dynamic **logistics** environment. Experience with various types of forklifts is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and **PPE** guidelines while operating machinery.
- Assist with inventory management and order picking as needed.
- Organize warehouse space to maximize efficiency.
- Adhere to all **logistics** operational standards.
- Participate in **safety** training and maintain a **safe** work environment.
- Must be comfortable with **lifting** and moving materials when not operating a forklift.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** regulations and procedures.
- Ability to **lift** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Must wear appropriate **PPE** at all times.
- Familiarity with **logistics** operations and inventory systems is a plus.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
