We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our Charlotte, North Carolina distribution center. This role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently, directly supporting our company's logistics and supply chain efforts. You will be responsible for selecting items and preparing them for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications, using RF scanners or pick tickets.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy, ensuring the correct product and quantity.
- Package orders securely and appropriately for shipping, following company standards.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage completed orders for staging and outbound logistics.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product information.
- Comfortable using RF scanning technology.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Awareness of safety protocols and a commitment to using PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
