We're looking for experienced and safety-oriented individuals to manage the movement of materials within our state-of-the-art warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, from receiving and put-away to order fulfillment and shipping. Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload products safely and efficiently. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a strong understanding of warehouse safety standards, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will perform daily pre-operation checks on equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area. Experience with different types of forklifts and proficiency with RF scanners are highly desirable. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any defects immediately.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring aisles are clear and hazards are mitigated.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Follow established lifting guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to meet operational goals.
