Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker in Portland, Oregon! We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient operations of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks such as receiving and unloading goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. This role is essential for our logistics network, ensuring products reach our customers on time and in excellent condition. We prioritize a safe working environment and provide all necessary training and PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle checks.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle heavy lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing demands.
