Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems).
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and meets Safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse facility.
- Assist with inventory management and organization, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Implement and enforce Safety protocols, ensuring all staff comply with regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- Operate various warehouse equipment as needed, including tasks involving Lifting.
- Support the logistics team in daily operations and special projects.
- Document all maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a warehouse technician, maintenance mechanic, or similar role. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics is highly desirable. Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including regular Lifting of up to 60 lbs. Familiarity with Safety regulations in a warehouse setting. Certification in operating specific warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Must be proficient in using hand and power tools. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to PPE requirements.
