You will be provided with order lists or use RF scanning technology to locate products and record your picks. The position requires physical stamina, as you'll be on your feet throughout your shift and will need to handle frequent lifting of items. Safety is paramount; adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and proper lifting techniques, is required to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations as specified by customer orders.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to identify and retrieve items.
- Ensure correct quantities are picked for each order.
- Stage picked items for quality inspection and packing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling techniques.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, such as stocking or put-away.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience, especially as an order picker, is a strong advantage.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the warehouse for extended periods.
- Capability to perform frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret picking instructions and labels.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
