Are you looking for a dynamic role in the logistics industry? Our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility is seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. You'll navigate the warehouse to select items, package them securely, and prepare them for shipment, directly impacting customer satisfaction. This position demands accuracy, speed, and a strong focus on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using a pick list or scanning device.
- Inspect items for damage and ensure product quality.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate packaging equipment such as tape guns and pallet wrappers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Be prepared to engage in frequent Lifting of items, up to 40 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and shipping labels.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
- Willingness to engage in manual Lifting and material handling.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
- Commitment to following safety procedures.
