Right now were looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and help develop and mature our DevOps capability across a modern Azure-based platform. Youll be joining a small DevOps team of two, working closely with an existing DevOps engineer and supporting multiple development teams building .NET applications in Azure. This is a hands-on platform engineering role focused on infrastructure, automation and deployment pipelines rather than operational support. Our DevOps capability is still relatively new. Youll have real influence over infrastructure design, deployment practices, and platform standards as we grow our DevOps capability. Tech Stack Microsoft Azure Terraform (Infrastructure as Code, modular enterprise-scale deployments) Azure DevOps Pipelines Azure App Services & Azure Functions Azure SQL Azure Monitor / Application Insights (strong observability focus) PowerShell / Python scripting Optional: Azure Container Apps, AKS What Youll Be Doing Designing and maintaining Terraform infrastructure for Azure environments Building and improving CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Automating infrastructure provisioning and application deployments Supporting development teams working with .NET and Azure services Improving reliability, scalability and cost efficiency across Azure Implementing monitoring, alerting and logging using Azure Monitor and Application Insights Managing Azure governance, RBAC and policies Troubleshooting platform issues and improving system resilience Contributing to DevOps standards, tooling and automation practices Youll be working closely with developers to make deployments faster, infrastructure more consistent, and systems easier to operate. What Were Looking For Experience working in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role Strong experience with Azure cloud infrastructure Hands-on experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Scripting skills (PowerShell or Python) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to work across development, operations, and architecture teams Desirable Azure certifications Containerisation experience (Azure Container Apps, AKS) Experience supporting .NET / Microsoft-based development teams Familiarity with Agile engineering environments Why This Role?
