Transport Supervisor

We are seeking a transport supervisor to join our waste management team in our Navan Depot Co. Meath.

The transport supervisor will support the depot manager in delivering efficient and high‑quality waste collection services across the service area. This role involves supervising a team of drivers and operatives, managing a fleet of Refuse Collection Vehicles (RCVs) and ensuring excellent customer service through effective coordination with collection crews, maintenance teams and the wider administration team.

• Ensure all skip orders are sequenced in the most efficient and economical way while ensuring that customers receive a best-in-class customer service. Ensure RCV collections are completed on time and efficiently.
  
• Develop and implement clear and concise weekly KPIs. Report on same weekly, along with remedial actions where there are clear issues.
  
• Assign specific areas of responsibility to each of your direct reports and provide ongoing training. Ensure that each direct report is cross trained to cover other work areas as required.
  
• Monitor routing efficiencies (WIS), driving efficiencies and implement changes as required to improve performance. xcfaprz
  
• Oversee drivers and helpers ensuring operational needs are met.
  
• All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public using the premises.
