Senior Project Engineer

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation in Dublin is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support a major pipeline of capital and infrastructure projects planned over the next 6 years.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing engineering team delivering production, packaging, and facilities projects in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The Role

The successful candidate will play a key role in the planning and delivery of capital projects across production and site facilities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

You will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, validation, and quality teams to support equipment installations, facility upgrades, and manufacturing improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing capital engineering projects from concept through to completion
• Supporting installation and commissioning of manufacturing and packaging equipment
• Delivering facility and infrastructure upgrades
• Coordinating vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring projects meet GMP, quality, and safety requirements
• Supporting commissioning and validation activities where required
• Driving improvements across production and site utilities

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years’ experience in a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer role
• Experience delivering capital projects in manufacturing environments
• Strong exposure to production equipment and facility projects
• Experience working within regulated industries (pharma, food, beverage, or similar)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contractors
• Strong organisational and project management skills

Experience working on packaging lines, production equipment, or facility infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous. xcfaprz
