Category Manager

Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Category Manager within a well-established organisation. This role offers scope to dive deep into product management and category analysis, with exposure to commercial strategy and team collaboration. Reporting to the Estimating Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the commercial and estimating team, working closely with other departments to drive category performance.

• Become the go-to expert on the full product range, including design, features, pricing, and competitor analysis.
• Review sales, revenue, and margin data to inform commercial decision-making and category strategy.
• Support new product launches and market positioning from concept through to go-live.
• Lead tender and OEM projects, managing proposals, execution, and launch.
• Gather customer feedback, analyse performance data, and turn insights into actionable improvements.

• Experience in category or product management with strong commercial acumen.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and confidence with data analysis (Excel).
• Degree in management, business, or a related field (desirable).
• Experience in bathroom, trade building products, or similar sectors (desirable).
