We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Bournemouth. Here, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values your individuality. Our staff are trained in 'Developmental Trauma' and therapeutic parenting, equipping you to provide the best support possible to our young people.
Your RoleMain Duties:
- Support children and young people, understanding the unique challenges they face.
- Work flexible hours, including 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins.
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of our young people.
- Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
- Collaborate effectively within a team, accepting guidance and direction.
- Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
- Hold or be willing to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a full UK driving license and a car for travel.
- Exhibit excellent communication and listening skills.
- Show a willingness to learn and grow.
- Be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check, which we will cover.
- Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
