About Us

At Fosterplus , we have been dedicated to making a difference since 1996. With 25 years of experience as an independent fostering agency, we understand the importance of continuity for the children and young people in our care.

Many of the children we support have faced disrupted childhoods, and our mission is to break this cycle by providing stability and nurturing environments. We achieve this by carefully matching foster parents with children and offering unwavering support and guidance.

Our commitment is clear: to create positive and stable family environments where children can thrive emotionally and academically.

What We’re Looking For

We are on the hunt for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. Your collaborative approach will be key in promoting meaningful supervision of placements.

To succeed in this demanding role, you should:

  • Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
  • Have previous experience in children and families social work
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation in children's services
  • Exhibit strong IT skills
  • Be flexible regarding working patterns and travel
Your Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision
  • Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated foster parents, monitoring their practice and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which will be covered by Fosterplus.

Why Choose Fosterplus?

We are an equal opportunities employer and actively encourage applications from qualified candidates. Our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults is at the heart of everything we do.
