Pizza Hut is looking for a customer-obsessed Senior User Experience Researcher who is passionate about understanding people and translating insights into meaningful product decisions. As part of the US UXD team, you'll support technology and product teams by uncovering the motivations, behaviors, and needs of our customers, internal users, and franchise partners. Your work will inform customer-centered solutions across all US digital products including PizzaHut.com, the Pizza Hut mobile app, and internal tools that drive franchise success. Lead research strategy and execution across product areas with guidance and coaching from UX and product leadership. Help define the right research questions and methods to support business goals and user needs. Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and data analysts to turn insights into action. Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making across teams. Balance strategic generative research with tactical evaluative work to support product development at every stage. Clearly communicate findings through impactful storytelling, workshops, and artifacts that drive alignment and clarity. Contribute to the culture and evolution of the UX and product teams. Qualifications
5+ years of UX research or related experience is required. A portfolio or collection of case studies demonstrating your research process and impact is strongly encouraged. Deep expertise in a wide range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including but not limited to user interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, ethnographic observation, and concept testing. Experience synthesizing insights from multiple sources (research, data, stakeholder input) to influence product strategy. Experience using research and design tools like UserTesting, Fullstory, and Figma. Experience conducting workshops and knowledge of Design Thinking principles. Strong facilitation, storytelling, and communication skills tailored to diverse audiences (from engineers to executives). Experience working in agile product environments and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver customer value. Foundational understanding of design principles and how research informs experience design. A strong sense of curiosity and a drive to advocate for users throughout the product development lifecycle. Ability to operate independently on complex research initiatives while actively contributing to a collaborative team environment. Enthusiasm for solving problems, building systems, and helping teams think deeply about their users. A degree in a related field such as human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, information science, or similar is preferred. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
