Are you detail-oriented and efficient? We're hiring an Order Picker in Omaha, Nebraska, to be a key player in our fulfillment operations. You will be responsible for accurately picking products for customer orders, ensuring timely and correct shipments. This role is critical to customer satisfaction and requires precision, speed, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety . Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Use scanning equipment to track inventory and update order statuses.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage orders for shipping and verify quantities.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and inventory control.
- Proper use of required PPE , such as safety shoes and gloves, is essential.
- Must be capable of sustained standing, walking, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics .
