Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Warehouse Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing the equipment and infrastructure within our state-of-the-art distribution center. Your expertise will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics processes, contributing directly to our company's success. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of warehouse equipment, including conveyor systems, forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated machinery.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to identify and address potential hazards, ensuring compliance with all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • Operate and maintain various tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict safety standards.
  • Proper use of PPE is mandatory at all times.
  • Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics .
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
  • A proactive approach to safety and maintenance.
