We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Baltimore, Maryland! As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct daily activities of the warehouse staff, including scheduling and task delegation.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and audits.
- Implement and enforce all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Manage the use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure seamless logistics flow.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations by all staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role within a logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and solve complex problems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for PPE usage.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
