In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating and processing all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You'll work closely with our logistics team to manage shipping documentation, prepare packages, and liaise with carriers. Responsibilities:
- Process and document all outgoing shipments accurately.
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickup schedules and track shipments.
- Inspect outgoing packages for correct labeling, content, and secure packaging.
- Maintain organized records of all shipments processed.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Assist with receiving duties as needed, maintaining a safe and orderly dock area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a related logistics or administrative role is required.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of shipping regulations and carrier requirements is essential.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
