Join our growing team as a Fulfillment Associate in Columbus, Ohio! This role is at the heart of our operations, responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their products accurately and on time, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and the success of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy and quality before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Prepare orders for shipment, organizing them by carrier or destination.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and utilizing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Understand and follow all logistics procedures and company policies.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or picking/packing role is a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret order tickets and labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanning devices is a plus.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving repetitive motion.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of proper PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
