We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Dallas, Texas. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position involves accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order requests and carefully packing them for shipment. You will be responsible for maintaining an organized workspace and contributing to the overall efficiency of the warehouse operations. Strong attention to detail is essential for this role, as is the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory according to order sheets.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Understand and follow all logistics procedures.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
