Join our dynamic team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Fort Worth, Texas! This vital role supports the seamless flow of goods into and out of our facility. You'll be responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics and supply chain management, requiring reliability, organization, and a strong focus on safety .
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders and system records.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including accurate picking, packing, and staging.
- Process shipping documentation, generate labels, and arrange carrier pickups.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
- Organize warehouse storage areas for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE .
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors/carriers.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, which may include manual lifting .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all regulations.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is advantageous.
- Must be able to wear required PPE , such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
