We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions are vital to our logistics network, ensuring timely processing and shipment of goods. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Picking and packing orders accurately according to pick lists.
- Stocking and organizing inventory in designated areas.
- Performing general warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Operating pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety .
- Identifying and reporting any damaged or defective products.
- Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Understanding and utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) as needed.
- Proper use of required PPE , including gloves and safety shoes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
