Our Grand Rapids, Michigan warehouse is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to support our logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods using forklifts and pallet jacks, and staging materials for production or shipping. You will assist with inventory management, ensuring accurate placement and tracking of goods within the warehouse. A strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures is essential, including the proper operation of equipment and the mandatory use of PPE, such as hard hats, safety vests, and steel-toed boots. The ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 60 pounds, standing, and maneuvering heavy items, is required. This role is vital to the smooth functioning of our distribution center, contributing directly to our logistics efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
