We are looking for a diligent and physically capable Material Handler to join our Sacramento, California warehouse team. In this role, you will be essential in managing the flow of goods within our facility. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, unloading, transporting, and staging materials and products. This involves operating various pieces of equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently. You will ensure that materials are moved from receiving areas to their designated storage locations, and from storage to shipping or production areas as needed. A strong commitment to safety is paramount; you must be knowledgeable about and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe operation of machinery. This position requires the ability to perform frequent and significant Lifting of heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A good understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics is beneficial. We are seeking reliable individuals who are team-oriented, possess good communication skills, and are dedicated to maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store materials and products.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Stage materials for shipping or production.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform regular checks on equipment for maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain assigned PPE .
- Perform heavy Lifting and other physical tasks as required.
- Understand and follow warehouse logistics workflows.
