Our Orlando, Florida facility is looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to maintain and improve the efficiency and safety of our warehouse operations. This role involves not only the movement of goods but also ensuring that our equipment and facility infrastructure are in optimal condition. You will play a key role in ensuring our logistics operations run smoothly and safely, contributing to our overall success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse facility and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, ensuring its proper functioning.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support logistics team with various tasks as required.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or maintenance role, preferably in logistics.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment operation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be reliable and safety-conscious.
