Are you meticulous and detail-oriented? We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records at our facility in San Jose, California. This vital role ensures that our stock levels are precise, facilitating smooth logistics and preventing discrepancies. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory variances, implementing process improvements, and working closely with the warehouse and operations teams. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and a commitment to Safety are essential. This position may involve some moderate Lifting of inventory items and requires careful handling to prevent damage. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and expect its consistent use. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory data in the WMS.
- Implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Analyze inventory turnover and identify slow-moving items.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend reorder points.
- Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
- Work with operations to improve inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety protocols and PPE usage.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
