We are seeking a motivated and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial to our daily operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, stored, and shipped to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including order picking, packing, loading, and unloading merchandise. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for growth within our expanding logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic computer systems is beneficial.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all guidelines.
