Our growing company in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is looking for a dedicated Material Handler. This position is key to our **logistics** operations, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and staged efficiently and safely within our facility. You will be instrumental in maintaining an organized workflow and supporting our distribution efforts. We are committed to a **safe** working environment and provide the necessary training and **PPE**. This role is ideal for someone who is physically fit and enjoys a hands-on role.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming materials.
- Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stage materials for production, order picking, or shipping.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and procedures.
- Ensure the correct **PPE** is worn at all times.
- Handle **lifting** and moving of various materials, following safe practices.
- Support the overall **logistics** team in achieving daily goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a significant advantage.
- Ability to **lift** up to 60 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse **safety** protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate **PPE** throughout the shift.
- Experience with **logistics** operations is a plus.
