Join our expanding logistics operations in San Antonio, Texas, as an Order Picker. This role is fundamental to our ability to meet customer demands, focusing on the accurate and efficient retrieval of products from our warehouse inventory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Verify product details, including item numbers and quantities, to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and correctly for transit, adhering to packaging guidelines.
- Place picked and packed orders in designated areas for shipment consolidation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to housekeeping standards.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting and stock verification.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets, supporting our overall logistics goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse position is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Experience with RF scanning devices is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to using PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
