Are you an energetic individual looking for a rewarding role? Our dynamic warehouse in Orlando, Florida is seeking a diligent Order Picker. This position is vital for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders, directly impacting our logistics success. You will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Locate products within the warehouse, ensuring the correct item and quantity are selected.
- Pack items carefully and securely for shipment, following company guidelines.
- Stage picked orders for quality control and shipping.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our logistics operations by meeting picking targets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners is beneficial.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks that require standing and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
