We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Picker/Packers in our state-of-the-art facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment, which is the backbone of our logistics operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve accurately picking items from designated warehouse locations and preparing them for shipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail to ensure correct product selection and quantity. You will be responsible for carefully packaging items to prevent damage during transit, applying shipping labels, and staging orders for carrier pickup. Attention to adherence to safety protocols is paramount in this role. We provide comprehensive training on our warehouse management system and equipment. Successful candidates will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment, contribute to team goals, and uphold our company's commitment to excellence in logistics and supply chain management. This position involves regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs, and you will be required to wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests, at all times within the operational areas to ensure personal safety and the safety of others. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual.
