Join our growing logistics team in Richmond, Virginia, as an Order Picker! This position is vital for ensuring the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, your main responsibility will be to accurately retrieve products from various locations within our warehouse. You will use pick lists or electronic devices (like RF scanners) to locate items efficiently. This role demands accuracy, speed, and a strong ability to follow instructions. You'll be on your feet for most of your shift, navigating the warehouse aisles and potentially using equipment to reach higher shelves. We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail. Working collaboratively within a team environment to achieve daily goals is also important. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve specified items from warehouse locations based on order details.
- Ensure accuracy in item selection and quantity.
- Use RF scanners or other technology to track picked items.
- Transport picked items to the designated packing or consolidation area.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to facilitate efficient picking.
- Perform routine checks on equipment used for picking.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting methods.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies.
- Meet productivity targets for order fulfillment in our logistics center.
