Join our dynamic warehouse team in Detroit, Michigan, as an Order Picker! We are seeking motivated and efficient individuals to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or digital orders. Your accuracy and speed are critical to our logistics operations. This role involves significant walking and reaching, and sometimes requires using ladders or other equipment to access inventory. You will work closely with other warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure that orders are processed correctly and efficiently. Experience with RF scanning technology is beneficial. We are looking for candidates who are reliable, organized, and possess excellent attention to detail. A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential. We offer a supportive work culture and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to assigned orders.
- Utilize RF scanners or pick lists to identify and locate items.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and safe lifting practices.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets within our logistics operations.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as necessary.
