We're looking for motivated Order Pickers to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, Michigan! In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your precision and efficiency are key to our logistics operations and overall success. You'll use state-of-the-art RF scanning equipment and work closely with a supportive team. Responsibilities:
- Locate and pick products based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Utilize RF scanners to accurately identify and track inventory.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Transport picked items to packing stations or designated shipping areas.
- Assist with replenishing stock in picking locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors promptly.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and be mobile for the entire shift.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good reading skills for understanding order information.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and safety procedures.
