Join our dynamic warehouse team in Richmond, Virginia, as a Material Handler! We are looking for a physically fit and motivated individual to efficiently move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our **logistics** center, ensuring that materials are organized and accessible for production and distribution. You will operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to transport materials throughout the warehouse. A keen focus on **safety** is critical; you will be responsible for adhering to all **PPE** guidelines, operating equipment safely, and following established **safety** procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. This role involves significant **lifting** of materials, often weighing up to 50 pounds, and continuous physical activity including walking, standing, and bending. Key responsibilities include receiving and stocking incoming inventory, picking orders for shipment, and assisting with inventory counts. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area. Experience operating various types of forklifts is highly preferred.
