Our growing distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our fulfillment team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our valued customers. Your efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail are paramount to our logistics success. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing technology to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive workplace. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack products carefully and securely to ensure they arrive undamaged.
- Verify order details against picked items to maintain high accuracy rates.
- Label packages appropriately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all Safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality metrics.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow within the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, packing, or general warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including frequent standing, walking, and Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Understanding and application of Safety best practices.
- Reliability and punctuality.
