Are you looking for an active role in logistics? We have an opening for an Order Picker in Colorado Springs, Colorado! As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. Your primary responsibilities will include reading order slips, locating the specified items within the warehouse, and picking the correct quantities. Accuracy and speed are key in this role. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic warehouse setting. You will be expected to utilize picking equipment and potentially RF scanners (training available) to navigate the warehouse and track inventory movements. This physically demanding position requires the ability to stand for long hours, move quickly, and perform frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Safety is our top priority; you must strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices to avoid injuries. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order forms.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to navigate the warehouse and record picked items.
- Stage picked items for quality control and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Practice safe lifting and material handling techniques.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as stocking or replenishment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Physical capability to perform frequent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and product labels.
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Team-oriented mindset.
