We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be adept at operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, ensuring accurate inventory counts, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols are paramount. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and the opportunity to be part of a growing logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Pick and place merchandise in designated storage areas.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in regular safety training.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid certification for reach truck operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that involve frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Good communication skills.
