JOB SUMMARY
An internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience to college students. Engages in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform at an entry to mid-entry level position. Receives training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Any non-essential functions are assumed to be included in "Other related duties as assigned." To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
Provide technical support to staff on hardware, software, and network related issues Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software Monitor infrastructure performance and utilization and troubleshoot any issues Follow established procedures and processes for systems and hardware maintenance Update, maintain, or recycle documentation, runbooks, and standards Research solutions for projects and daily operations
Understands the overall concept of APFCU, including the brand, members, product goals and all other aspects of service. Rotates through our divisions of responsibilities and provides ideas to grow and improve the business. As appropriate to the position and as specified by unit management, accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship. Engages with members and employees and provides service. Provides suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes. Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Completes all regulatory compliances as assigned.

High school graduate or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program to receive credit 3rd or 4th year college student Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Credit must be in good standing. Must be bondable pursuant to §713.3(b) of the NCUA's Rules and Regulations.
