We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, including cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, and ensuring optimal stock levels. You will work closely with warehouse staff, procurement, and management to implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to accuracy are essential. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Monitor stock rotation and identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all goods.
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate inbound and outbound transactions.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing and improving inventory control processes.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Handle tasks involving Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
