Your duties will include preparing shipping labels, coordinating with carriers, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring compliance with all shipping regulations. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and print shipping labels and ensure accurate destination information.
- Package orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS) to schedule pickups.
- Maintain accurate shipping logs and documentation.
- Verify the accuracy of outgoing shipments against order details.
- Ensure compliance with all domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Operate shipping software and warehouse management systems.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or a related logistics role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common carrier portals.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and general logistics principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Understanding of safety regulations and commitment to following them.
- Basic computer proficiency.
This role is crucial for our logistics operations, demanding accuracy and efficiency. Proper use of PPE is mandatory. Employees will receive training on safe lifting techniques and shipping procedures. Your role ensures that our products reach our customers seamlessly.
