We are currently seeking a 310T Mechanic to join our growing operation in Marathon. SOUTHLAND Transportation offers an opportunity that is always exciting and allows for a good work-life balance. We offer personalized training, competitive wages, and flexibility within your personal life.
The shift for this position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with overtime and weekends as needed.

*Key Responsibilities*
The Mechanic is responsible for servicing/repairing company buses in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
* Ongoing maintenance/repair of buses
* Diagnose equipment problems
* Brake and Safety Inspections
* Complete all documentation associated with equipment repairs
* Respond to breakdowns
* Spring and winter maintenance
*Requirements*
* Licensed Mechanic – 310T
* Safety Inspection License
* Experience working with Fleet Management Systems is considered an asset
* Analytical and troubleshooting skills
* Own hand tools
* Valid driver’s license
* Fluent in written and spoken English
* Computer and diagnostic equipment skills
* Ability to work independently
* Strong time management skills and well-developed communication skills (both written and verbal)
