We are looking for kid-friendly optometrists to work in the Chicago Public School (CPS) School-Based Vision Program. The program provides comprehensive eye exams and glasses directly to students. Services are provided inside of schools during school hours and are available to all CPS students (Pre-K thru High School). Must be comfortable working with children and diagnosing binocular vision disorders. All necessary equipment is provided - exam lanes are set up by technicians prior to doctor arrival. This rewarding position is an ideal opportunity for work-life balance - no evenings, weekends or holidays. We are very flexible with scheduling to accommodate your availability and location. Part-time, Full-time and Fill-in positions are available (W-2 positions) with a competitive pay structure. Full-time position offers a comprehensive benefit package including 401K (with employer contributions and a Profit Sharing component), health insurance, PTO, holidays, CE and license reimbursement and malpractice insurance.
