Director - AML Compliance

Our client is a large global financial services organisation operating within the funds industry. With continued growth across its regulated entities, the firm is now looking to appoint a Director of AML Compliance to join its senior compliance leadership team in Dublin.

This is a senior compliance leadership role responsible for overseeing the AML compliance framework across multiple regulated entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong regulatory oversight, supporting governance structures and ensuring the organisation remains aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.

• Act as Compliance Officer and/or MLRO for regulated entities where required
• Maintain relationships with regulatory authorities and represent the organisation in regulatory matters
• Develop and oversee Compliance Monitoring Programmes across relevant jurisdictions
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise senior management on regulatory change and impact
• Provide regular compliance reporting to senior management, governance committees and board stakeholders
• Act as a subject matter expert on AML matters across the organisation
• Ensure appropriate escalation and remediation of compliance incidents and breaches
• Lead and develop members of the compliance team

• 10+ years’ experience in Compliance / AML within the funds industry
• Strong knowledge of AML regulations and financial services regulatory frameworks
• Experience working in fund administrators, asset managers or regulated financial services firms
• Previous experience acting as MLRO, Compliance Officer or in a senior AML leadership role
• Experience managing and developing compliance teams
• Professional qualification such as ACAMS, ICA or equivalent preferred

• Senior leadership role within a well-established global organisation
• Exposure to senior management, governance committees and regulators
