Join our team as an Order Picker in Kansas City, Missouri! We are a growing Logistics company seeking dedicated individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders. In this role, you will navigate the warehouse to locate and retrieve specified items using scanning technology and pick lists. Your precision and efficiency are vital to our operations. Proper techniques for Lifting will be emphasized. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other technology to track picks.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow all Safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting equipment.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors immediately.
- Adhere to company policies regarding PPE and workplace conduct.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our Logistics processes.
Ability to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods. Commitment to Safety. Previous order picking experience is preferred.
