Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or overages.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Track the movement of goods within the warehouse, ensuring proper documentation.
- Identify and report damaged or expired goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend process improvements for logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE during all inventory-related tasks, including manual Lifting.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting and moving inventory as needed.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
